Name:
The World Lin’s Association. (Hereinafter called as “the Association”).

Purpose:
The World Lin’s Association was established to advocate ancestral heritage, to benefit our people, to organize our family for mutual cooperation, and to broaden our Chinese culture to the world..

The Association Missions:
1. Perform worship of ancestors and a memorial to ancestors.
2. Construct and manage the Association.
3. Maintain collect, and compile historical documents and genealogy and
contemporary legacy of ancestor.
4. Work closely with the Lin’s association worldwide for mutual cooperation.
5. Assist government in promoting social work.
6. Other service and innovation of the Association.

本會會員分為個人會員及團體會員二種。
（一）個人會員：世界各地之林氏宗親年滿二十歲，不分性別，贊同本會宗旨，願遵守本會章程及決議者，填具入會申請書，經理事會通過並繳納會費後，為個人會員，必要時經理事會審核通過後，得為永久會員。
（二）團體會員：世界各地之林氏宗親團體，贊同本會宗旨，願遵守本會章程及決議者，填具入會申請書，經理事會通過並繳納會費後，得為團體會員。

Membership is open to individuals and organizations, absentee membership is on the purpose of strengthening the communication of our kindred worldwide.

Individual Membership
Membership is open to people of twenty-year of age or older without distinction of sex who returns completed written application forms to apply for membership. The application shall be discussed by the Board members and valid by the Board members’ approval. After becoming our formal membership upon the admission fee paid, the rules and Regulations of the Association and resolutions made by the Board members shall be abided.

Group Membership
Organization returns completed written application forms to apply for membership. The application shall be discussed by the Board members and valid by the Board members’ approval. After becoming our formal membership upon the admission fee paid, the rules and Regulations of the Association and resolutions made by the Board members shall be abided.

Absentee membership is open to individuals and organizations.

Individual Absentee Membership
Individual who resides outside the Republic of China is of twenty-year of age or older without distinction of sex who returns completed written application forms to apply for membership. Group Absentee Membership
Organization located outside the Republic of China returns completed written application forms to apply for membership. The application shall be discussed by the Board members and valid by the Board members’ approval. After becoming our formal membership upon the admission fee paid, the rules and Regulations of the Association and resolutions made by the Board members shall be abided.

Member shall have the following obligations:
1. To obey the Rules and Regulations and resolutions of the Association.
2. To forward punctually to the Association fees and temporary charity
contribution.
3. To attend the Conference of Members regularly.
4. To protect and maintain the reputation of the Association, and to assist promoting
business of the Association.

Member shall have the following rights:
1. Speaking rights, voting rights, rights to volt, rights of being electing, and rights of
recall, absentee membership have sole speaking rights.
2. Rights for attending activities held by the Association.
3. Rights for enjoying welfare offered by the Association.

Responsibilities of Members of Conference:
1. Establish and amend to the Rules and Regulations.
2. To volt or to recall the Board members and the Supervisors.
3. Resolution of amount and mode of payment for admission fees, annual fees,
business fees, and contributions.
4. Resolution of annual work project, reports, and budgets.
5. Resolution of termination of membership.
6. Resolution of handling properties.
7. Resolution of group dismissal.
8. Resolution of other important issue related to the members.

理事、監事之選舉必要時，得採用通訊選舉方式辦理，通訊選舉辦法由理事會通過報主管機關核備後行之。

The Association has thirty-five Board members, eleven Supervisors, eleven Candidates for the Board members, and three Candidates for the Supervisors, they are elected by members at Conference of members.

Election for the Board members and the Supervisors could be through the electronic as needed, the rule must be discussed entirely and approved by the Board members, and then refer to the government authority.

Responsibilities of the Board members
1. To examine qualification of members.
2. To vote, or to recall the Standing Board members, the Board Chairman, and the Vice Board Chairman.
3. To permit resignation of the Board members, the Standing Board members, the
Board Chairman, and the Vice Board Chairman.
4. Recruit and dismiss clerks.
5. To plan annual work project, budgets, reports, and financial statements.
6. Other affairs needed to be followed up.
7. To nominate candidates for next term of the Board members and the Supervisor as needed.

Responsibilities of the Standing Board members,
1. To perform resolutions made by the Board members.
2. To assist in promoting business.
3. To plan the affairs related to the development of the Association.

Responsibilities of the Supervisors
1. To examine performance of resolutions made by the Board
members.
2. To examine the Association business promoted by the Board members.
3. To audit financial statements and to inspect the Association business.
4. To attend the Board meeting with no voting rights.

Responsibilities of the Standing Supervisors
1. To audit financial statements and exercise impeachment power.
2. To supervise the Association business.
3. To attend the Standing Board meeting with no voting rights.

The Board members and the Supervisors shall be dismissed upon the occurrence of any of the following events:
1. Lost membership.
2. Hold his personal interest over and above public interest, violate the law and
discipline, and neglect duties.
3. Resignation offered voluntarily.
4. Violate resolutions made by the Board members and Members of Conference.

秘書長承理事長之命執行會務，並設下列各組，會務組、總務組、財務組、公共關係組、文獻組。
各組得設正副組長各一人、幹事若干人，由秘書長提名經理事長同意聘任之。
本會各級辦事人員為義務職，但得酌支車馬費。

The Association has one secretary general, three vice secretary general, and some secretaries who are nominated by the Board Chairman and appointed by the Board members.

Secretary general reports to the Board Chairman in connection with the Association business and is in charge of convention section, general-affairs section, financial section, public-relations section, and documentation section. Each section has one section chief, one vice section chief, and several clerks, they are nominated by secretary general and appointed by the Board Chairman.

All staffs are working for the Association with no pay, but transportation allowances is able to be applied.　

The Conference of Members are taken placed regularly and temporarily convened over by the Board members. Regular conference is held once a year and temporary conference is convened over by the Board members as needed.

The Board members shall determinate the meeting date for Conference of Members.
Any resolutions made by the conference is required to reach the agreement of majority of participants, the yeas and nays of the members at Conference of Members on any question shall be, at the desire of two thirds of those present.
1. Establish and amend to the Rules and Regulations.
2. Termination of membership.
3. To recall the Board members and the Supervisors.
4. Handle with properties.
5. Resolution of group dismissal..
6. Resolution of rights and obligations of members and other important issues.

The Board Meeting and the Standing Board Meeting are convened over by the Board Chairman and are held every six months and three months respectively. Any resolution made by both meetings are required to reach the agreement of majority of participants, and the yeas and nays of the members of either the Board and the Standing Board on any question shall be, at the desire of half of those present.

The Supervisor Meeting and the Standing Supervisor Meetings are convened over by the Supervisor Convener and are held six months and three months respectively. Any resolutions made by both meetings are required to reach the agreement of majority of participants, and the yeas and nays of the members of either the Supervisors and the Standing Supervisors on any question shall be, at the desire of half of those present..

The Association reserves the right to the Board Chairman to invite the Board members, the Supervisors, the Standing Board members, and the Standing Supervisors to attend joint conference. The yeas and nays of the members of either the Supervisors and the Standing Supervisors on any question shall be, at the desire of half of those present.

To offer service and to foster closer membership among the Lin’s Association worldwide, the yearly gathering shall be hosted by international members in their country. Members at the Conference of Members shall determinate a time frame, venue, and sponsor for the next gathering.

Expenditure comes from:
1. Annual fees from members.
2. Government sponsor fund.
3. Contribution from members.
4. Interest income on fund.
5. Other incomes.

Membership fees
Individual member: Admission fee: NTD1,000.00 or more.
Annual fee: NTD1,000.00 or more.

Permanent individual member: A donation of more than one thousands Taiwan New
dollars at one time can be free from the admission and
the annual fees.

Group member:
General membership: Admission fee: NTD10,000.00 or more.
Annual fee: NTD10,000.00 or more. In addition, ten
representatives are allowed to participate the Association.
Advanced membership: Admission fee: NTD5,000.00 or more.
Annual fee: NTD5,000.00 or more. In addition, ten
representatives are allowed to participate the Association.

Permanent group member:
General membership: A donation of more than one hundred thousand Taiwan New
dollars at one time can be free from the admission and the
annual fees. In addition, ten representatives are allowed to participate the Association.

Advanced membership: A donation of more than fifty thousand Taiwan New
dollars at one time can be free from the admission and the
annual fees. In addition, five representatives are allowed to participate the Association.

　Individual absentee member: A donation of more than five thousand Taiwan New
dollars at one time can be free from the admission
and the annual fees.

Group absentee member:
General membership: A donation of more than fifty thousand Taiwan New dollars
at one time can be free from the admission and the annual fees. In addition, ten representatives are allowed to participate the Association.

　Advanced membership: A donation of more than twenty-five thousand Taiwan New
dollars at one time can be free from the admission and the
annual fees. In addition, five representatives are allowed to participate the Association.

The fiscal year of the Association shall commence on the 1st day of January, and end on the 31st day of December of every year. A report of financial statement will be, examined by the Board members and the Supervisors and then be submitted to the Conference of Members for permission.

Upon dissolubility and abolishment of the Association, any members has no rights to occupy properties of the Association. All resources and properties belong to the Association must be subject to provision of government law.

The rule for handling the Association affairs will be supplemented subsequently.

Any provision is not covered by the Rules and Regulation of the Association, which will be subject to the related governmental regulations. Supplementary rule about to kinds of conferences will be set up subsequently for members to comply with.

The Rules and Regulations is proved by Conference of Members and passed by the government authority, similarly, amendment to the Rules and Regulations will be subject to the requirement.
